From the Farm
We love living in Klamath.
Not because we have some perfect community where we all get along. In fact, that couldn't be further from the truth. We don't all agree, but people here still show up. People where multiple hats, volunteer endlessly, argue at public meetings... and then sit next to each other at their kids basketball games.
There's a shared love for this place, deep sense of service to others, and strong American values. It is a combination that suddenly feels increasingly rare and something we are so grateful for.
Rural communities like ours face an uncertain future, we felt called to create a space for more conversation. Not curated newsfeeds or endless shouting matches. Just thoughtful discussions about rural life, public policy, community, family, farming, and the future we're building together.
Think of it as an extension of our farm table and front porch.
If you enjoy the stories and updates we share in our newsletter, but want to go a little deeper, we'd love to have you join us on our substack at American Ordinary.
